Caring For Our Neighbors In Need
A service project for all ages
Personal Care Kits
At Gather4Good events, people of all ages assemble care kits that are distributed locally to homeless and domestic abuse shelters and to those receiving help through the Catholic United Response program. Care kits provide a sense of normalcy, dignity and hope to people in extreme desperation and need.
Catholic United Financial selects the venue, like a park, zoo or parish grounds, and provides the supplies, musical entertainment, refreshments and family fun -- all free of charge. Click here to find out why.
Registration OpensPlan to sign-in, get instructions and participate in an opening prayer. We'll also hear from a local representative who will share about how these kits will impact your local community.
Service ActivityCare kit assembly begins. Volunteers of all ages can help, including entire families!
Activities and refreshmentsPeople of any age can assemble a care kit. Games and refreshments, plus musical entertainment, will be provided. Spontaneous dancing has been known to happen!
It takes about 1-2 hours to assemble individual kits and bag them up for delivery to the service organizations which will distribute them. Volunteers are welcome to work at their own pace and to enjoy the other activities provided.
Sponsor two care kits for only $15
Your tax-deductable donation helps cover the costs of the items that make up the personal care kits. Kits provide dignity and hope to people experiencing homelessness. Kit contents include personal hygiene items and a note of encouragement.

Gathering for good since 2010
Catholic United Financial and its members have been engaging the community to raise awareness about a local need and to benefit people in extreme desperation. Since the program began in 2010, we have assembled over 20,000 personal care kits and raised more than $37,000. In 2014, Gather4Good received commendations from the offices of Congressman John Kline and Senator Al Franken for "devotion to helping those in need." Past Gather4Good events have been held at:
