Gather4Good® is a service project for all ages that unites communities in the Upper Midwest in caring and compassion.
Catholic United Financial selects the venue, like a park, zoo or parish grounds, and provides the supplies, musical entertainment, refreshments and family fun — all free of charge. You provide the volunteers.
Together, we assemble kits of personal care items that will be distributed through local shelters, ministries and charities that help families in need due to homelessness, poverty and natural disasters.
Gather4Good was put on hold in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After that hiatus, we hope to bring back these wonderful events to a neighborhood near you. In 2019, we completed Gather4Good events in the communities of Pine City, MN and Columbia Heights, MN. Volunteers at these events packed 4,000 kits in total, meaning 4,000 lives touched. We’re excited to partner with local agencies and parishes to help combat the effects of homelessness and abuse in these communities and the surrounding neighborhoods.
Your tax-deductible donation helps us purchase supplies that are assembled into our personal care kits. The more you donate, the more kits we can assemble. Please consider a donation today. Just $25 sponsors 5 kits!
Gather4Good is a scaleable service project that can be accomplished by groups of 100 to 400 people. Anyone can assemble a care kit, from age 2 to 102! This is a wonderful, multi-generational project that is perfect for church congregations, students from kindergarten to college, youth groups, charitable organizations and more.
